Piracy Prosecution Database

CEMLAWS Africa partnered with the Oceans beyond Piracy (OBP) and the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to provide a database containing the domestic legislation of numerous countries related to their ability to prosecute acts of piracy or armed robbery at sea, as well as pertinent international legal instruments.

The database seeks to provide transparency to the countries’ ability to repress and combat piracy and is available on the OCB website: http://oceansbeyondpiracy.org/piracy-law-database.
